Alissa Serignese Legacy Scholarship Endowment

Learn more about your impact

The Alissa Serignese Legacy Scholarship Endowment was created to honor Alissa, a former vice president of the ASU Alumni Association, a two-time Sun Devil alumna and Sun Devil Legacy herself, who bled maroon and gold. This scholarship is exclusive to Sun Devil alumni relatives and designed to foster continued legacies at ASU.

Contributing to this Sun Devil scholarship endowment helps ensure other ASU families like hers can share their proud Sun Devil legacy and provide future Sun Devil students the opportunity to achieve their educational dreams.

As a legacy and double alum, Alissa served as a senior leader of the ASU Alumni Association and the Office of University Events working passionately to champion ASU spirit, pride and traditions in future generations of Sun Devils. Her ASU legacy journey began with her father who played football for ASU's legendary head coach Frank Kush, then two sisters who graduated from ASU and now a daughter who is pursuing her academic dreams at ֱ State. Supporting this scholarship endowment recognizes the importance of continuing the ASU tradition within your own family and the advancement of the university."

Impact of Donor Support

  • More learners can pursue higher education. In 2022, 22,000 donors contributed $66.3 million for scholarships.
  • More students succeed. ASU ranks #1 among the state’s public universities for its 86% first-year retention rate thanks in part to donor-funded student success initiatives.
  • And donors helped ASU offer more than 4,500 hours of free tutoring.

I believe ASU is a major life force in our community and I want to do my part to help it thrive."
